St. David's Anglican Church
We view each generation as a critical step in the journey of life, we offer programs for all ages, from youth through to our vibrant Senior's programs.
With that in mind, we welcome children and youth, families and singles. St. David's House was originally started by the church, and many of its residents take part in our vibrant Senior's programs.
Our History in Delta
St.David's has always given space to many other community needs, everything from Blood Donor clinics to Musical theatre have been hosted. The church began in 1908 at Boundary Bay School, the building from 1954 is now at Winskill park.
A service at Boundary Bay School is 1908 was the start of St.David's Church. In 1954 a church was built at corner of what is now 16th Ave. and 56th Street. In 1970 this Church was handed over to the Parks Board of the municipality and was relocated in Winskill Park where it was used by community groups for many years. The present church was opened in 1970.
