Rev.SimbarasheBasvi was ordained in the Anglican Communion in 2003. He brings a wide range of leadership roles to St.David's. His education is extensive and diverse. Experience includes nine years as a director and tutor at an Ecumenical Training Institue in Gweru, a school chaplain, teaching English as a foreign lanugage in Beira-Mozambique, and another two years as Sub Dean and eventually Dean of St. Cuthbert's Cathedral in Gweru. He has also served as an assistant priest and rector of churches in Harare, Mission,and Luanshya. In appreciation of his gifts, he was appointed a Capitular Canon of St. Cuthberts' Cathedral.
